Defining a Process Chain job

This procedure describes how to define a Process Chain job for Control-M for SAP Business Warehouse.

To define a Process Chain job:

1. From the Connection Profile field, click .

   The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to use to run a process chain job, and click OK.
3. From the Process Type drop-down list, select Process Chain.
4. In the Process Chain Characteristics area, click Select.

   The Select Process Chain dialog box appears.

5. Click Load
6. Select the required Process Chain, and then click OK.
7. Click OK.

   The Description and ID fields are populated.

8. From the ReRun Options drop-down list, select one of the following:
   • Restart from point of failure
   • Rerun from start
9. Click SAP More and select one or more of the following:
   • Enable Periodic Job: Determines whether the first run of the Process Chain prepares for the next run and is useful for reruns when big Process Chains are scheduled
   • Consider only the overall chain status: Determines whether to view the status of the overall Process Chain
   • Retrieve Log: Determines whether to add the Process Chain logs to the job output
