Editing a connection profile

This procedure describes how to edit a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

To edit a connection profile:

  1. From the Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Databases, right-click and select Connection Profile Management.

    The Control-M for Databases -Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to edit, and click .

    The Update <connection profile> Connection Profile dialog box appears.

  3. Update the required parameters in the Database Connection Parameters tab, as described inControl-M for Databases connection profile parameters and the Advanced Connection Configuration tab, as described in Advanced Connection Profile configuration parameters.
  4. Review the connection profile details and click Test (optional).

    If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a Database job, as described in Job definition. If the test fails, review the error message(s), fix any problems as necessary, and test it again.

  5. Click OK.

    The connection profile is updated in the Control-M for Databases -Connection Profile Management dialog box.
