Stopping an Amazon EC2 VM instance

This procedure describes how to define a job from Control-M for Cloud that stops an Amazon EC2 VM instance.

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have a configured Amazon EC2 account, as described in Control-M for Cloud.

To stop an Amazon EC2 VM instance:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Load.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  2. Select an Amazon EC2 connection profile, and click OK.

    The Connection Profile field is set.

  3. From the Operation dropdown list, select Stop.
  4. From the Instance ID field, click Add and select the Instance IDs that you want to stop.

    The Instance ID parameters appear in the table.
