This procedure describes how to shut down Control-M for Web Services, Java, or Messaging.
NOTE: If you are upgrading from version 6.3.02 to 8.0.00, to shut down Control-M for Web Services, Java, and Messaging, from the Control-M Agent machine, open its Java GUI Account Management dialog box, click Tools menu, select Shutdown CM and follow the on-screen instructions. Shutting down Web Services jobs that are running when Control- M for Web Services is stopped may result in ending NOTOK in Control-M. However, these jobs may continue running on the remote computer. Shutting down Control-M for Messaging while there are Messaging jobs running may cause jobs to not end properly.
To shut down Control-M for Web Services, Java, or Messaging:
