Starting Control-M Messaging API

This procedure describes how to start Control-M Messaging API.

To start Control-M Messaging API:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Windows: Do the following:
     1. From the Control Panel, click Administrative Tools and then click Services.
     2. Highlight Control-M Messaging API, and click Start.
   • UNIX: Do the following:
     1. Navigate to the installation directory, and enter the following command:

        bin/start_ctmmsapi

2. The following message appears:

   Starting Control-M Messaging API...

   .Sending output to nohup.out

   ....

   Control-M Messaging API started successfully. PID: 20564

   NOTE: If the product is already running, the following message is appears: Control-M Messaging API is already running.
