Validating a Control-M Web Services API account

This topic describes how to validate an account in the Control-M Web Services API.

To validate an account:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Windows: From All Programs, highlight Control-M Web Services and Messaging API and click API for Web Services Account Management.
   • UNIX: Navigate to the installation directory, and run bin/ctmwsapiacc.

   The Control-M Web Services API - Web Services Account Management dialog box appears.

2. From the Control-M Web Services API - Web Services Account Management dialog box, highlight the account you want to edit and do one of the following:
   • Click .
   • From the Tools menu, click Validate.
3. If the test completes successfully, the account validates.
4. Click OK.
