Modifying Control-M for Web Services connection profile settings

This procedure describes how to modify Control-M for Web Services connection profile settings in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

To modify Control-M for Web Services connection profile settings:

1. From the Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Web Services, right-click and select Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for Web Services Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

   NOTE: If the Cannot send parameters to WS CM Extension error message appears, do the following:

   • Open the <Agent>\data\wsprofile.dat and set the WSHOSTNAME to a fully qualified hostname or IP address. This often happens in an environment where the Agent is a multi-homed system.
   • If the problem persists, check if the port number for the WSPORTNUM parameter is not already used by another application on the Agent machine and change if necessary.
2. Select the connection profile that you want to edit, and click .
3. The Options dialog box appears.
4. Complete the configuration parameters as described in Configuration parameters for Control-M for Web Services.
5. Click OK.

   The connection profile settings are modified.
