Migrating Control-M for AFT to a Control-M/Agent 64 bit

This procedure describes how to migrate Control-M for AFT from a 32 bit Control-M/Agent to a 64 bit Control-M/Agent, which enables you to upgrade to Control-M for AFT 8.2.00 or Control-M MFT 9.0.00 or higher.

To migrate Control-M for AFT:

1. From the 32 bit Control-M/Agent, back up the following directory and all its sub-directories:

   <Agent home>/cm/AFT/data

2. Install Control-M for AFT 8.0.00 on a 64 bit Control-M/Agent.

   Do not restart the Control-M/Agent.

3. Rename the directory to the following:

   <Agent home>/cm/AFT/orig_data

4. Copy the following directory from the 32 bit Control-M/Agent to the 64 bit Control-M/Agent:

   <Agent home>/cm/AFT/data

5. Restart the Control-M/Agent.
6. From the CCM, verify that the connection profiles and PGP templates are correct.

   You can now upgrade to to Control-M for AFT 8.2.00 or Control-M MFT 9.0.00 or higher on the 64 bit Control-M/Agent.
