The shutdb utility shuts down the SQL database server. To shut down the SQL database server, using the shutdb utility, see Shutting down the SQL database server using the shutdb utility.
NOTE: The SQL database server can also be shut down using the ctm_menu utility (Control-M Manager menu) as described in ctm_menu and from the CCM, as described in Component status.
