Activating a Workload Policy Definition

This procedure describes how to activate a Workload Policy Definition, which enforces all the rules of the Workload Policy Definition on the associated jobs.

To activate a Workload Policy Definition:

1. From the Tools domain, in the Production Control area, select Workload Policy Definition.

   The Workload Policy Definition manager appears.

2. Select the Workload Policy Definition that you want to activate.
3. From the Workload Policy Management menu, select Activate.

   A confirmation message appears.

4. Click Yes.

   The Workload Policy Definition is activated.

5. Click Apply Changes.

   A confirmation message appears.

6. Click Yes.

   The Workload Policy definition is now saved in the Control-M/EM database.
