Extending the timeout period in Control-M/EM

This procedure describes how to extend the timeout period in Control-M/EM. and Control-M/Server, which prevents timeouts from occurring when you are generating an SSH key in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

To extend the timeout period in Control-M/EM:

  1. Log into the Control-M Configuration Manager, as described in the Control-M Administrator Guide.
  2. From the Tools menu, select System Parameters > Control-M/EM System Parameters.

    The Control-M/EM - System Parameters window appears.

  3. Double-click the RemoteCmdTimeout parameter.
  4. In the Value field, change the value to 3600.
  5. Click Save, and then click Close.
