Introduction to Control-M Self Service

Control-M Self Service is a web and mobile application, which enables you to view your services from anywhere and analyze the problematic services and jobs. After you have determined what the problems are, you can resolve them by performing various service and job actions, depending on your authorizations.

A service is created from the Service Manager, as described in Service definition.

Control-M Self Service provides the following functionality:

• Service management: Enables you to hold, release, filter, show history, and order services, as described in Control-M Self Service service management.
• Job management: Enables you to find, hold, release, re-run, confirm, restart, set to OK, kill, order and update jobs, as described in Control-M Self Service job management.
• Control-M Managed File Transfer: Enables you to search for a file that was transfered and view its job properties and transfer status, as described in Searching for a file transfer.
