Creating a user/group

This procedure describes how to create a user/group which enables you to define the Control-M/Server users/groups.

To create a user / group:

1. From the Components Tree pane, right-click the Control-M Server: <name of server> and select Security > Control-M Server.

   The Control-M/Server Security window appears.

2. From the drop-down list, select User or Group.

   The New User/New Group window appears.

3. Define the following:
   • Name: Type a name for the user/group.
   • Description: Type a description for the user/group (optional).
   • Group: Type the name of the group the user belongs to.
4. Click OK.

   The user/group is created.
