Running the ctmgetcm utility

This procedure describes how to collect, store and display application server information from Control‑M/Agents using the ctmgetcm utility.

To run the ctmgetcm utility:

1. Do one of the following:
   • UNIX: Log on to a Control-M/Server account
   • Windows: Open a command prompt window where Control-M/Server is installed.
2. Type one of the following commands
   • To run the utility interactively:

     ctmgetcm

     You are prompted for the required parameters as if you had selected the View Host ID Details option of the Control-M Main Menu.

   • To run the utility as a single prompt:

     ctmgetcm -HOST agent -APPLTYPE OS -ACTION <get|view>
