Viewing a variable value using the ctmstvar utility

This procedure describes how to run the ctmstvar utility, which enables you to display the current value of a variable or function.

To view a variable value using the utility:

1. Do one of the following:
   • UNIX: Log on to a Control-M/Server account.
   • Windows: Open a command prompt window where Control-M/Server is installed.

   NOTE: You can also run this utility in Control-M Agent by navigating to where Control-M/Agent is installed.

2. Type the following command:

   ctmstvar <orderID> <variableString>
