Locating V7 items in V9

This procedure describes how to locate V7 items in the V9 screen, which enables you to find items in the V9 Control-M client.

To locate V7 items in V9:

1. In the Control-M client, click the File menu, and select Help > V7 to V9 Locator.

   The V7 to V9 Locator window appears.

2. In the main V7 screen, do one of the following:
   • To locate a Control-M/Desktop Job Editing Form item, click .
   • To locate a Control-M/Desktop item, click .
   • To locate a Control-M/Enterprise Manager item, click .

   The V7 screen appears.

3. In the V7 screen, click a field, menu item or a toolbar.

   The keystrokes to get to the item are marked in the V9 screen.

4. To find another item, click anywhere on the screen, and repeat steps 2 - 3.
