Adding users to Local Security policies

This procedure describes how to add users, that are defined in the connection profile in the host where the Local CM checkbox is selected, to specific policies in the Local Security Settings window, which enable you to execute PGP commands (Windows only).

To add users to Local Security policies:

  1. From the Start menu, select Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment.

    The Local Security Settings window appears.

  2. Right-click the Log on as a batch job policy, and select Properties.

    The Log on as a batch job Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click Add User or Group.

    The Select Users or Groups dialog box appears.

  4. In the Enter the object names to select field, type the name of the user(s) that are defined in the connection profile in the host where the Local CM checkbox is selected, and then click OK.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Right-click the Replace a process level token policy, and select Properties.

    The Replace a process level token Properties dialog box appears.

  7. Repeat step 3 through step 5.
