Creating and installing the signed certificate

A certificate signing request (CSR) is a document that asks a CA to bind the associated information into a certificate and sign it with the digital signature of the authority. After validation, the certificate is a valid identification certificate. Installing the certificate in the key database makes the certificate available to a Control-M component.

  NOTE: You must install the trusted root authority certificate in the database before you install a certificate signed by it.
