This procedure describe how to generate diagnostic data for Control-M/EM, Control-M/ Agent, and Control-M/Server, such as usage measurement reports and product logs and configuration. This enables you to identify and troubleshoot problems or areas of inefficiency in the Control-M production environment and communicate that information to BMC customer support.
To generate diagnostic data:
The Diagnostics Data Collection window appears.
The Action Result dialog box appears.
If the diagnostic data collection returns with the following error, see Troubleshooting diagnostic data collection failure:
