Creating a historical viewpoint

This procedure describes how to view a viewpoint from an earlier date, which enables you to access Job processing data that has been accumulated up to a period of time.

To view the history of viewpoints:

  1. From the Viewpoints tab, select the viewpoint that you want to view.
  2. Click History.

    A Calendar box appears.

  3. From the dropdown list select the relevant Control-M Server.
  4. In the date section, click the date you want to search.

    The viewpoint appears. For more information about the viewpoint fields, see Viewpoint Fields.

    NOTE: You can edit the viewpoint fields by clicking Edit Viewpoint.

  5. If you want to view the Job status and check for problems, select any Job. For more information, see Job management.
