Detect spawned Jobs

The following table describes the Tandem parameters for Detect Spawned Jobs:

Parameter

Description

Detect spawned Jobs

Determines whether to detect child Jobs spawned by this Job. When a child Job is detected, you can choose whether to create a new Control-M Tandem external Job or order an existing Tandem external Job from a pre-defined Folder. Values:

  • Do not detect spawned Job
  • Detect and create new Job
  • Detect and order existing Job

 

Bypass when Job not found

(Detect spawned Jobs mode CREATE only) When attempting to attach the detected child Job as an external Job and the Job was not found, the Job is bypassed. The Job ends OK with the message, Job was Bypass, in the Job’s output.

From Folder

Detect spawned Jobs mode ORDER only) Specifies the Folder name where the Job that is to be ordered is defined.

Job name to order

(Detect spawned Jobs mode ORDER only) Specifies the Job name to order upon spawned Job detection.
