Adding a note to a Folder/Job

This procedure describes how to add a note to a Folder/Job, which enables you to write information about the Folder/Job to the scheduler.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed Setting up a Control-M Workspace

To add a note to a Folder/Job:

  1. In the Workspace, select the Folder/Job.

    The properties pane appears on the right.

  2. Click WCM_note_New.
  3. In the text box, type the note to the scheduler.
  4. Click Add.
  5. If you want to make changes to the note text, click WCM_note-edit.
  6. If you want to delete the note, click WCM_note_delete.
