General Information

Parameter OVERRIDE can be specified for printing missions which run under a printing monitor and for printing missions which run under a batch job.

If a printing mission is run under a batch job (because parameter BATCH is set to Y) and subparameter FREE is set to END, all of the chunks produced by the printing mission should be in one JES outgroup. Otherwise, SYSOUTS might not be printed in the correct order. To ensure that all SYSOUTS are in the same JES outgroup, they must have the same CLASS, DEST and EXTWTR (external writer name). Parameter OVERRIDE can be used for setting these characteristics.

For more information about subparameter FREE, see parameter BATCH in this chapter. For more information about chunking, see the Control-D and Control-V chapter of the INCONTROL for z/OS Administrator Guide.
