There are two basic methods of specifying index values for report retrieval:

Description |

Quick Access Method |
This method utilizes Quick Access panels to display each index path. Values can be assigned to the indexes in a path. |
Index/Subindex Window Method |
This method utilizes windows to display the available indexes at a hierarchy level. An index can be selected and its value specified. |
In both methods, available index values are displayed alphabetically in a Values of Index panel. Values in the panel can be specified for use in retrieval.
