Control-V and Control-D share the same monitor when both are installed. However, this monitor is referred to as the Control-D monitor in this guide.
The Control-D monitor executes mission (task) instructions defined by the users. The monitor is active in one computer at the site, usually 24 hours a day. It is normally activated as a started task.
The monitor’s primary functions are:
Scheduling missions for execution based on the existence of prerequisite conditions, scheduling time limits, priorities, and so on.
Decollating reports
Indexing reports during decollation
Preparing printing plans for the Printers Control monitor
Migrating reports
Backing up reports
Restoring reports
Notifying users (for example, TSO users, computer operator) of report events
Adding and deleting prerequisite conditions
Transferring reports to PCs (for users of Control-D/WebAccess Server)
