Invoking the Rule from a Job

Two examples of invoking Control-M/Analyzer include

• adding a Control-M/Analyzer step as the last step of a job, to check the outputs of that job
• executing a Control-M/Analyzer rule in the middle of a job in order to check an input file prior to a database update

In these cases, you would add a job step to an already existing job in the correct location in that job. This job step would then call the Control-M/Analyzer balancing rule. You would not need to define special scheduling criteria for the balancing rule, as the rule would fit into whatever scheduling criteria are specified for the existing job.
