Restore Mission Workflow

The restore mission workflow of Control-D is shown in Figure 10. It shows the stages involved from initially scheduling the restore mission through to restoring the CDAM datasets. There are certain phases of the workflow during which you have to decide how restores should be performed at your site. We will examine each phase in detail, as follows:

  1. Schedule restore mission to the Active Missions file.
  2. Select restore mission for execution.
  3. Execute restore mission instructions.
  4. Create restore job.
  5. Submit restore job.
  6. Execute restore job.
