Stop all tape activity. If Control-M/Tape is active, bring it down with the following command:
S CTTINIT,PARM=‘MODE=TERM’
BMC recommends that you bring down CA-EPIC/MVS at this time.
Note: If CA-EPIC/MVS is not brought down at this time, information about datasets processed after production of the CA-EPIC/MVS DSN Catalog report (in Step 8) is not incorporated into the Control-M/Tape Media Database that is produced by the conversion tool.
