Report Types

The following types of reports are available under Control-M/Analyzer:

• reports produced automatically by the operation of Control-M/Analyzer
• reports produced by scripts that utilize the IOA KeyStroke Language (KSL)

  KSL scripts generate reports in batch mode that can be produced online with the Online facility. For more information see the KeyStroke Language (KSL) User Guide.

• Control-M/Analyzer special reports that cannot readily be produced using the Online facility or KSL.

Some Control-M/Analyzer reports are produced from information in the Rule Activity file, Report file or IOA Log file. Other reports are produced from the Active Balancing file, mission definition files, and the Database.

The Reporting facility can be activated at any time.
