Scheduling parameters for each mission can be specified under different categories. It is possible to use different scheduling criteria for different calendar cycles (for example, daily, monthly, yearly). Each set of balancing criteria is called a category.
Any number of categories (for example, any number of scheduling criteria) can be defined. BMC recommends that only one category (for example, DAILY) be used for all missions in early stages of Control-M/Analyzer implementation.
