Rule Parameters – Summaries

Comprehensive descriptions of Control-M/Analyzer Rule Definition parameters are provided later in this chapter. They are arranged alphabetically. Subparameters are listed according to the order of the fields on the screen.

Each parameter begins on a new page, headed by its name in uppercase letters. This is followed by a brief explanation of the purpose of the parameter.

The format required for defining the parameter is presented next. An extract of the Rule Definition screen illustrates where and how the parameter is specified on the screen.

General Information gives a detailed explanation of the parameter and its uses.

A number of practical examples are provided to illustrate the implementation of each parameter.

Note: Avoid using Control-M/Analyzer reserved words in rule parameter specifications. For a complete list of reserved words, see Reserved Words.
