The MEMLINES function returns the number of lines that a member contains. The number of lines is obtained from the ISPF statistics SIZE parameter. The input arguments can be variables or literals, meaning, character strings enclosed by apostrophes (single quotes).
An error message is generated if the library or member does not exist.
