Control-M/Analyzer performs all arithmetic calculations in floating point mode. The result is always returned as a floating point number.
Before performing arithmetic calculations, Control-M/Analyzer checks that each operand resolves to a valid number. If an operand is nonnumeric, the result is a Control-M/Analyzer runtime error.
