The original scheduling date (ODATE) is the working date that Control-M/Analyzer assigns to missions, messages or conditions.
Every item under Control-M/Analyzer is assigned an original scheduling date. For missions, it is the date on which the mission should be scheduled for execution. For messages, it is the original scheduling date of the mission that generated the message.
A mission is always associated with an original scheduling date. For example, a mission with an original scheduling date of February 1 can be invoked on system date February 3 when the working date is February 2.
