Rules are data balancing tasks that contain all information necessary to analyze data and determine whether data are balanced. The operations that rules can perform include: accessing variables in the Database and other sources, performing calculations, searching and validating various data sources, and processing actions as a result of the balancing task. All these operations are specified using the Rule Definition screen.
