Whether the job scheduling definition applies to a job, warning messages, or a started task is determined by the values defined in the TASKTYPE parameter, which is described in TASKTYPE: General Job Parameter.
AutoEdit variables can be specified and are resolved. Even the machine ID, which is relevant for started task initiation, can be automatically replaced based on resource allocation. For more information, see JCL and AutoEdit Facility.
