Scheduling Definition Facility

The Control-M Scheduling Definition facility is accessed through option 2 of the Primary Option menu. It is the main online facility for creating, defining, modifying, and deleting

• tables
• scheduling definitions

In addition, this facility can be used to

• edit the JCL of a job
• produce a job (scheduling) plan
• display job statistics
• copy a job definition
• graphically display a job flow of the jobs in a table
• manually order or force jobs

Note: Ordering places the requested job in the Active Jobs file only if its basic scheduling criteria are met. Forcing places the requested job in the Active Jobs file regardless of its basic scheduling criteria.
