IOAPFSTC – Printing performance statistics reports

The IOAPFSTC utility is used for printing IOA Application Server (IOAAS) performance statistics reports. The statistics records are collected in the Permanent User file while the IOAAS is running and can be printed out any time afterwards. The reports can be printed for specific periods of time, LPARs, and IOAAS address spaces as specified by the utility parameters. The utility can also remove statistics records that are older than one year, which were not overridden by new data.

Performance statistics reports can be printed for the following purposes:

• Provide tables for easy transformation into Microsoft EXCEL worksheets. These tables allow easier analysis of performance problems. The tables are printed out to the DAPFSXL DD-statement.
• Provide tables for viewing and analysis by the customers or support staff. These tables allow customers and support to follow up IOAAS workload changes. The tables are printed out to the DAPFS DD-statement.
