IOALOGXC – Activate or deactivate use of the IOA LOG Index file

The IOALOGXC utility is used to activate or deactivate use of the IOA Log Index file by setting or resetting the index indication in the IOA Log file Control record (Record 0).

The IOA Log Index file improves the viewing process of IOA Log messages with the ORDERID (OID) parameter because it provides direct access to specific records in the IOA Log file.

Note: Use of the IOA LOG Index file is optional, and can be activated or deactivated dynamically by the IOA Administrator.
