Open the Inquire/Update screen by selecting option TI on the IOA Primary Option menu.
After the Inquire/Update entry panel is displayed, insert in the VOLSER FROM field the volume serial number of the last volume mounted in the job, and press Enter. The volume record is displayed.
Check that the volume is marked with an asterisk, which designates it as part of a multivolume group.
Type S in the option column of the volume and press Enter.
Verify the data set name that was created. The default name for this data set is CTT.MULTI.VOLUMES.
Type A in the option column of the volume and press Enter. The Prev Volume field in the Multi‑Volume section should contain the volume serial number of the first volume mounted in the job.
