When sharing Control‑M/Tape, it should be installed only once. However, certain installation steps, such as installing Control‑M/Tape SVC (in static mode only), must be repeated for all systems. This applies not only when a single IOA environment is shared between all the systems, but also when several IOA environments are shared between the systems. This means that in a multi‑IOA installation, Control‑M/Tape should be installed only on one of the IOA environments.

If you have installed more than one IOA environment, you must select one of them as the basic environment for Control‑M/Tape, and install Control‑M/Tape in this environment only.
