In addition to validation checks that are performed during data entry, this step runs a program to verify that the installation parameters do not contain conflicting values. For example, the prefix of the Control‑V libraries is checked to determine that it does not conflict with other INCONTROL product prefixes.

If the step completes successfully, it is automatically marked complete.

If conflicts are identified, a list of warning messages is displayed. The list contains the current values of the conflicting parameters and the required corrective action.
