Table 84 Target library and member parameters

Library / member

Description

OLPREFV

High level data set name qualifiers (prefix) of the Control‑V Operations libraries. This prefix must be from 1 through 27 characters in length and may include periods. The last character must not be a period.

  • Mandatory

OLUNITV

Disk unit on which Control‑V Operations libraries are placed. Specify a generic unit (such as 3390 – not SYSDA). The unit name must be a valid unit name ranging from 1 through 8 characters.

OLVOLV

Volume serial number of the volume on which Control‑V Operations libraries are placed. The volume serial number must range from 1 through 6 characters.

CTVCAT

Name of the user catalog where the Control‑V Index files and migrated CDAM data sets are cataloged. The catalog is created during the installation process. It must not be an OS catalog (SYSCTLG).

Verify that the user catalog prefix is not defined in the master catalog. For example, if the user catalog name is CTVV.UCAT, the name CTVV should not already exist in the master catalog. This is necessary so that CTVV.UCAT can be cataloged in the master catalog. Optional.

CATUNITV

Unit of the user catalog where the Control‑V Index files and migrated CDAM data sets are cataloged. Optional. The unit name must be a valid unit name ranging from 1 through 8 characters.

CATVOLV

Volume serial number of the user catalog. Optional. The volume serial number must range from 1 through 6 characters.
