If IOA Shout messages (notifications) are used for ROSCOE users, verify that the ROSCOE initialization deck contains the NOTIFY=xxxx statement (or ROSID=xxxx in newer versions). xxxx usually defaults to ROSC.

Regular IOA SHOUTs can then be defined to the destination TSO xxxxpp. In that destination

• xxxx is the name that is specified as NOTIFY=xxxx (or ROSID=xxxx) in the ROSCOE initialization deck.
• pp is the ROSCOE user’s prefix (not key). The prefix consists of two or three characters.
