The IOAIDMSJ job assembles and links the IOAIDMS program. This module performs all the IDMS/DC‑related functions under the IDMS/DC interface. Due to IDMS/DC version dependencies (that is, changes in IDMS/DC basic commands), the IOAIDMS module must be assembled and linkedited.

While in Edit, modify any necessary JCL statements, and submit the job. All steps must complete with a condition code of 0.

SMP/E Users:

Step IDMSSMP will RECEIVE and APPLY a USERMOD IDMS001 to implement the IDMS/DC support.

This step should be repeated whenever the IDMS/DC version is changed.
