The IOACPLJ job assembles and links the IOACPL module. This module performs all the COM‑PLETE related functions under the COM‑PLETE interface. Due to COM‑PLETE version dependencies (that is, changes in COM‑PLETE basic commands), the IOACPL module must be assembled and linkedited.

While in Edit, modify any necessary JCL statements, and submit the job. All steps must complete with a condition code of 0.

For users who use SMP/E:

• Step CPLSMP will RECEIVE and APPLY a USERMOD CPL0001 to implement COM‑PLETE support.
• Program IOACPL has several aliases. For details, see Step 17.2 – Catalog the IOA programs.

  Note: This step should be repeated whenever the COM‑PLETE version is changed.
