Step 2.3 – Operation and Maintenance Libraries

Select minor step 3 in the Minor Steps Selection screen and insert values for the IOA operation libraries parameters, as shown in the following table:

When specifying values for parameters or subparameters that include both unit and volume (volser) fields, you must either define both fields, or leave both of them blank. Do not enter a value for only one of them.

OLPREFA

High level data set name qualifiers (prefix) of the IOA Operation libraries.

  • Mandatory
  • Maximum length: 27

OLUNITA

Unit of disk on which IOA Operations libraries are placed. Specify a generic unit (for example, 3390—not SYSDA).

  • Maximum length: 8

OLVOLA

Serial number of volume on which IOA Operations libraries are placed.

  • Maximum length: 6

MLPREFA

High level data set name qualifiers (prefix) of the IOA Maintenance libraries.

  • Mandatory
  • Maximum length: 27

MLUNITA

Unit of disk on which IOA Maintenance libraries are placed. Specify a generic unit (for example, 3390—not SYSDA).

  • Maximum length: 8

MLVOLA

Serial number of volume on which IOA Maintenance libraries are placed.

  • Maximum length: 6

ISPFPREF

ISPF libraries prefix of the O.S.

  • Mandatory
  • Default: ISP
  • Maximum length: 35

The presence of the following libraries is mandatory:

  • ispfpref.SISPPispflang
  • ispfpref.SISPTispflang
  • ispfpref.SISPSispflang

ISPFLANG

ISPF language suffix of the O.S.

Valid values are the following:

  • ENU — English (default)
  • DES — Swiss German
  • DEU — German
  • JPN — Japanese
  • ENP — Uppercase English
