Job steps

Job steps require the installer to submit installation jobs. The jobs are usually ready to run, but some jobs require modifications before submission. Necessary changes are indicated by specific comments in the job.

For a Job type step, do one of the following:

After making the changes, submit the job using the SUBMIT command, or the equivalent standard at your site.

After running the job, check the job output. If the job was successful, the job step must be marked complete, using the "C" option described above, in order to proceed with the next step of the installation procedure.
