The following example shows the recommended basic default entry in the $$TRNRES member:
++++*
AFP,ALL=CTD.V610.SAMPREPS
XRX,ALL=CTD.V610.SAMPREPS
TXT,ALL=CTD.V610.SAMPREPS
For an AFP site you should add to the default entry to all libraries defined for PSF.
If an HFS or NFS directory is defined, needed resources can be taken from either of them, as follows:
XRX,HFS=/u/dir/resources
AFP,HFS=/u/dir/resources
When the Transformer searches for resources, it first searches in the z/OS libraries. If resources are not found in the z/OS libraries, it then searches the HFS directory. Resources within the HFS directory should have extensions in the resource format. While HFS directory names are case-sensitive, resources are not.
The following example shows the entry in the $$TRNRES member that indicates the resource format extensions:
++++REP1
XRX,FNT=XEROX.FONTLIB
XRX,FRM=XEROX.FORMLIB
XRX,IMG=XEROX.IMAGLIB
XRX,JSL=XEROX.JSLLIB
XRX,JSL=XEROX.GLOBALS
XRX,LGO=XEROX.LOGOLIB
XRX,ALL=CTD.V610.SAMPREPS
XRX,HFS=/u/dir/resources
If a JSL resource named JDE21 is not found in XEROX.JSLLIB or in XEROX.GLOBALS the transformer will then search in the =/u/dir/resources directory for a resource named JDE1.jsl.
The following example shows an AFP resource search:
++++AFPREP
AFP,FDE=AFP.FDEFLIB
AFP,FNT=AFP.FONTLIB
AFP,FNT=SYS1.FONTLIB
AFP,OLY=AFP.OVERLIB
AFP,PGD=AFP.PDEFLIB
AFP,PSG=AFP.PSEGLIB
AFP,ALL=CTD.V610.SAMPREPS
AFP,HFS=/u/dir/resources
