Storage isolation (also called "storage fencing") limits the number of page frames that can be "stolen" from an address space. You can specify a minimum or maximum WSS (working set size), a minimum or maximum paging rate, or a combination of the two. The related MVS SRM parameters are: CPGRT, CWSS, PPGRT, PPGRTR and PWSS.
Improper specifications can degrade the Control‑M monitor’s performance and/or overall system performance. For example, if the maximum WSS is too low, the Control‑M monitor’s performance may suffer.
You only need to consider storage isolation if you experience a serious paging problem in the Control‑M monitor address space, causing delays in job scheduling.
In any case, you should not specify a maximum WSS and continue to monitor performance on a periodic basis.
